You need the free WireGuard client on your device. MAD VPN emails your connection file; you import it into WireGuard. There is no separate MAD VPN app, and this website does not turn on your device’s VPN.
Yes, your physical location does not need to match the server location. The location choices are Canada, Germany and Singapore. Speed and availability depend on your internet provider and distance from the server. Access through every network restriction is not guaranteed.
First, we send a verification code. Once you confirm it, we send a second email with your personal .conf file. Keep this file private: it contains the key to your connection. Use each location’s profile on one device.
We store your email and device access details to deliver, resend and revoke your connection. Private keys are encrypted in the website’s database. MAD VPN has not undergone an independent privacy audit.
An access code is required. The connection configuration supports IPv4 internet access; IPv6 is routed into the active tunnel and blocked. It does not include automatic server switching. To prevent connections when the VPN is off, use your device’s always-on VPN setting where available.
